The Ohio Campus Coalition for Advocates and Preventionists (OCCAP) is a community of practice for advocates and preventionists working on college and university campuses across the state. Open to college/university-employed staff, nonprofit-employed staff, and volunteers who work with survivors and/or violence prevention programming on college/university campuses.
Join us for a day of training and connection with anti-violence workers across the state. In the morning, we will hear from a panel of advocates and preventionists working on community, branch, and satellite campuses. Panelists include (in alphabetical order):
Charla Lauth, Survivor Advocate with Crime Victim Services
Jeff Puster, preventionist and contractor with the Ohio Domestic Violence Network
Nikki Crawford, Education and Outreach Manager with Hope and Healing
Seth Campbell, former Coordinator of Student Engagement, Diversity, and Inclusion at BGSU Firelands
The afternoon will feature space to engage in community conversation with those who do similar work.
